Real World Crypto 2027 - Call for Contributed Talks

The contributed-talks committee invites proposals for talks at the symposium. The main criteria for acceptance are whether (1) the proposed talk will be of interest to the RWC audience and (2) whether the talk will be of high quality. This audience typically has interests across all areas of real-world cryptography, including:

  • new applications of cryptography
  • novel cryptographic constructs and solutions for real-world problems
  • cryptographic deployment challenges
  • making cryptography work for users
  • social and political aspects of cryptography

NSF invests over $10M to advance U.S. leadership in privacy-enhancing technologies

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced a new $10.4 million investment to support the inaugural Privacy-Preserving Data Sharing in Practice (PDaSP) awards. This funding will support 10 multidisciplinary teams developing practical privacy-preserving data sharing and analytics solutions across science and technology domains such as healthcare, transportation, agriculture, and cybersecurity. The initiative emphasizes real-world deployment, collaboration with industry and government partners, and the development of community test beds to accelerate adoption of privacy-enhancing technologies. The investment reinforces U.S. leadership in trustworthy data sharing and evidence-based innovation.
